commit6107c5da0fupstream. batadv_show_throughput_override() invokes batadv_hardif_get_by_netdev(), which gets a batadv_hard_iface object from net_dev with increased refcnt and its reference is assigned to a local pointer 'hard_iface'. When batadv_store_throughput_override() returns, "hard_iface" becomes invalid, so the refcount should be decreased to keep refcount balanced. The issue happens in one error path of batadv_store_throughput_override(). When batadv_parse_throughput() returns NULL, the refcnt increased by batadv_hardif_get_by_netdev() is not decreased, causing a refcnt leak. Fix this issue by jumping to "out" label when batadv_parse_throughput() returns NULL. Linux kernel
============
There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
See Documentation/00-INDEX for a list of what is contained in each file.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
