Commitb72053072c("block: allow partitions on host aware zone devices") introduced the helper function disk_has_partitions() to check if a given disk has valid partitions. However, since this function result directly depends on the disk partition table length rather than the actual existence of valid partitions in the table, it returns true even after all partitions are removed from the disk. For host aware zoned block devices, this results in zone management support to be kept disabled even after removing all partitions. Fix this by changing disk_has_partitions() to walk through the partition table entries and return true if and only if a valid non-zero size partition is found. Linux kernel
============
There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
