[ Upstream commitcde7e2e35c] In order to match the changes of "Use the drm_panel_bridge API", the poweron/poweroff of dsi is extracted from enable/disable and defined as new funcs (atomic_pre_enable/atomic_post_disable). Since dsi_poweron is moved from dsi_enable to pre_enable function, in order to avoid poweron failure, the operation of dsi register fails to cause bus hang. Therefore, the protection mechanism is added to the dsi_enable function. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
