Move startup32_check_sev_cbit() into the .text section and turn it into an ordinary function using the ordinary 32-bit calling convention, instead of saving/restoring the registers that are known to be live at the only call site. This improves maintainability, and makes it possible to move this function out of head_64.S and into a separate compilation unit that is specific to memory encryption. Note that this requires the call site to be moved before the mixed mode check, as %eax will be live otherwise. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
