[ Upstream commitdea1bb35c5] People are reporing seeing fscache errors being reported concerning duplicate cookies even in cases where they are not setting up fscache at all. The rule needs to be that if fscache is not enabled, then it should have no side effects at all. To ensure this is the case, we disable fscache completely on all superblocks for which the 'fsc' mount option was not set. In order to avoid issues with '-oremount', we also disable the ability to turn fscache on via remount. Fixes:f1fe29b4a0("NFS: Use i_writecount to control whether...") Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
See Documentation/00-INDEX for a list of what is contained in each file.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
