commit3f9bce7a22upstream If we are using edge IRQs, new samples can arrive while processing current interrupt since there are no hw guarantees the irq line stays "low" long enough to properly detect the new interrupt. In this case the new sample will be missed. Polling FIFO status register in st_lsm6dsx_handler_thread routine allow us to read new samples even if the interrupt arrives while processing previous data and the timeslot where the line is "low" is too short to be properly detected. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
See Documentation/00-INDEX for a list of what is contained in each file.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
