The whole point behind adding driver_deferred_probe_force_trigger() in commit716a7a2596("driver core: fw_devlink: Add support for batching fwnode parsing") was to skip the check for driver_deferred_probe_enable. Otherwise, it's identical to driver_deferred_probe_trigger(). Delete the check in driver_deferred_probe_force_trigger() so that fw_devlink_pause() and fw_devlink_resume() can kick off deferred probe as intended. Without doing this forced deferred probe trigger, some platforms seem to be crashing during boot because they assume probe order of devices. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
See Documentation/00-INDEX for a list of what is contained in each file.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
