[ Upstream commit c99b38c412343053e9af187e595793c8805bb9b8 ] Modify the XHCI drivers to accommodate for handling multiple event rings in case there are multiple interrupters. Add the required APIs so clients are able to allocate/request for an interrupter ring, and pass this information back to the client driver. This allows for users to handle the resource accordingly, such as passing the event ring base address to an audio DSP. There is no actual support for multiple MSI/MSI-X vectors. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
