The rtl8188 copy of the os_dep support code causes a warning about a very significant stack usage in the translate_scan() function: drivers/staging/rtl8188eu/os_dep/ioctl_linux.c: In function 'translate_scan': drivers/staging/rtl8188eu/os_dep/ioctl_linux.c:306:1: error: the frame size of 1560 bytes is larger than 1400 bytes [-Werror=frame-larger-than=] Use the same trick as in the rtl8723bs copy of the same function, and allocate it dynamically. be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
