If use option '--itrace=iNNN' with Arm CoreSight trace data, perf tool fails inject instruction samples; the root cause is the packets are only swapped for branch samples and last branches but not for instruction samples, so the new coming packets cannot be properly handled for only synthesizing instruction samples. To fix this issue, this patch refactors the code with a new function cs_etm__packet_swap() which is used to swap packets and adds the condition for instruction samples. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
