commit b2747f108b8034271fd5289bd8f3a7003e0775a3 upstream. This is a re-commit ofda05b143a3("x86/boot: Don't add the EFI stub to targets") after the tagged patch incorrectly reverted it. vmlinux-objs-y is added to targets, with an assumption that they are all relative to $(obj); adding a $(objtree)/drivers/... path causes the build to incorrectly create a useless arch/x86/boot/compressed/drivers/... directory tree. Fix this just by using a different make variable for the EFI stub. be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
