[ Upstream commitd7ab5cdce5] When processing pmtu update from an icmp packet, it calls .update_pmtu with sk instead of skb in sctp_transport_update_pmtu. However for sctp, the daddr in the transport might be different from inet_sock->inet_daddr or sk->sk_v6_daddr, which is used to update or create the route cache. The incorrect daddr will cause a different route cache created for the path. So before calling .update_pmtu, inet_sock->inet_daddr/sk->sk_v6_daddr should be updated with the daddr in the transport, and update it back after it's done. The issue has existed since route exceptions introduction. Fixes:4895c771c7("ipv4: Add FIB nexthop exceptions.") Linux kernel ============ This file was moved to Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst Please notice that there are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or ``make pdfdocs``. There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory, several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation. See Documentation/00-INDEX for a list of what is contained in each file. Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
