[ Upstream commit4a60570dce] Some chips have attributes which exist on more than one page but the attribute is not presently marked as paged. This causes the attributes to be generated with the same label, which makes it impossible for userspace to tell them apart. Marking all such attributes as paged would result in the page suffix being added regardless of whether they were present on more than one page or not, which might break existing setups. Therefore, we add a second check which treats the attribute as paged, even if not marked as such, if it is present on multiple pages. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
See Documentation/00-INDEX for a list of what is contained in each file.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
