commit0962590e55upstream. ALU operations on pointers such as scalar_reg += map_value_ptr are handled in adjust_ptr_min_max_vals(). Problem is however that map_ptr and range in the register state share a union, so transferring state through dst_reg->range = ptr_reg->range is just buggy as any new map_ptr in the dst_reg is then truncated (or null) for subsequent checks. Fix this by adding a raw member and use it for copying state over to dst_reg. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
See Documentation/00-INDEX for a list of what is contained in each file.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
