commit 6d820b81c4dc4a4023e45c3cd6707a07dd838649 upstream. Going bus-off on a channel doing RX could result in dropped packets. As netif_running() gets cleared before the channel abort procedure, the handling of any last RDATA packets would see netif_rx() return non-zero to signal a dropped packet. kvaser_pciefd_read_buffer() dealt with this "error" by breaking out of processing the remaining DMA RX buffer. Only return an error from kvaser_pciefd_read_buffer() due to packet corruption, otherwise handle it internally. Linux kernel
============
There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
