[ Upstream commit72e544b1b2] While mounting a corrupted filesystem, a signed integer '*xattr_ids' can become less than zero. This leads to the incorrect computation of 'len' and 'indexes' values which can cause null-ptr-deref in copy_bio_to_actor() or out-of-bounds accesses in the next sanity checks inside squashfs_read_xattr_id_table(). Found by Linux Verification Center (linuxtesting.org) with Syzkaller. Linux kernel
============
There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
