Commit5fa6863ba6("spi: Check we have a spi_device_id for each DT compatible") added a test to check that every SPI driver has a spi_device_id for each DT compatiable string defined by the driver and warns if the spi_device_id is missing. The spi_device_id is missing for the MMC SPI driver and the following warning is now seen. WARNING KERN SPI driver mmc_spi has no spi_device_id for mmc-spi-slot Fix this by adding the necessary spi_device_id. be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
