commit80d20d35afupstream. local_timer_softirq_pending() checks whether the timer softirq is pending with: local_softirq_pending() & TIMER_SOFTIRQ. This is wrong because TIMER_SOFTIRQ is the softirq number and not a bitmask. So the test checks for the wrong bit. Use BIT(TIMER_SOFTIRQ) instead. These guides can be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or ``make pdfdocs``. There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory, several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation. See Documentation/00-INDEX for a list of what is contained in each file.
