commitbd82873f23upstream. spin_unlock_irqrestore() might be called with stale flags after reading port status, possibly restoring interrupts to a incorrect state. If a usb2 port just finished resuming while the port status is read the spin lock will be temporary released and re-acquired in a separate function. The flags parameter is passed as value instead of a pointer, not updating flags properly before the final spin_unlock_irqrestore() is called. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
