In the commitbac9c29482("drm/edid: Break out reading block 0 of the EDID") I broke out reading the base block of the EDID to its own function. Unfortunately, when I did that I messed up the handling when drm_edid_is_zero() indicated that we had an EDID that was all 0x00 or when we went through 4 loops and didn't get a valid EDID. Specifically I needed to pass the broken EDID to connector_bad_edid() but now I was passing an error-pointer. Let's re-jigger things so we can pass the bad EDID in properly. Linux kernel
============
There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
