At least on the HP Envy x360 15-cp0xxx model the WMI interface for HPWMI_FEATURE2_QUERY requires an outsize of at least 128 bytes, otherwise it fails with an error code 5 (HPWMI_RET_INVALID_PARAMETERS): Dec 06 00:59:38 kernel: hp_wmi: query 0xd returned error 0x5 We do not care about the contents of the buffer, we just want to know if the HPWMI_FEATURE2_QUERY command is supported. This commits bumps the buffer size, fixing the error. be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
See Documentation/00-INDEX for a list of what is contained in each file.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
