commite66b39af00upstream.008847f66c("workqueue: allow rescuer thread to do more work.") made the rescuer worker requeue the pwq immediately if there may be more work items which need rescuing instead of waiting for the next mayday timer expiration. Unfortunately, it doesn't check whether the pwq is already on the mayday list and unconditionally gets the ref and moves it onto the list. This doesn't corrupt the list but creates an additional reference to the pwq. It got queued twice but will only be removed once. This leak later can trigger pwq refcnt warning on workqueue destruction and prevent freeing of the workqueue. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
See Documentation/00-INDEX for a list of what is contained in each file.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
