The cs4265_readable_register function stopped short of the maximum register. An example bug is taken from : https://github.com/Audio-Injector/Ultra/issues/25 Where alsactl store fails with : Cannot read control '2,0,0,C Data Buffer,0': Input/output error This patch fixes the bug by setting the cs4265 to have readable registers up to the maximum hardware register CS4265_MAX_REGISTER. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
