[ Upstream commite3969eadc8] Recommended way of reading the interface timing gen status is via status register. Timing gen status register will give a reliable status of the interface especially during ON/OFF transitions. This support was added from DPU version 5.0.0. There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
