commit21aecdbd7fupstream. KVM's inject_abt64() injects an external-abort into an aarch64 guest. The KVM_CAP_ARM_INJECT_EXT_DABT is intended to do exactly this, but for an aarch32 guest inject_abt32() injects an implementation-defined exception, 'Lockdown fault'. Change this to external abort. For non-LPAE we now get the documented: | Unhandled fault: external abort on non-linefetch (0x008) at 0x9c800f00 and for LPAE: | Unhandled fault: synchronous external abort (0x210) at 0x9c800f00 Fixes:74a64a9816("KVM: arm/arm64: Unify 32bit fault injection") Reported-by: Beata Michalska <beata.michalska@linaro.org> Signed-off-by: James Morse <james.morse@arm.com> Signed-off-by: Marc Zyngier <maz@kernel.org> Link: https://lore.kernel.org/r/20200121123356.203000-3-james.morse@arm.com Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@linuxfoundation.org>
Linux kernel
============
There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
See Documentation/00-INDEX for a list of what is contained in each file.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
