[ Upstream commit cef721e0d53d2b64f2ba177c63a0dfdd7c0daf17 ] Doing this allows using registers as retrieved from an mcontext to be pushed to a process using PTRACE_SETREGS. It is not entirely clear to me why CSGSFS was masked. Doing so creates issues when using the mcontext as process state in seccomp and simply copying the register appears to work perfectly fine for ptrace. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
