[ Upstream commite7299f961f] Unlike PVR_POWER8, etc ...., PVR_7450 represents a full PVR value and not a family value. To avoid confusion, do like E500 family and define the relevant PVR_VER_xxxx values for the 7450 family: 0x8000 ==> 7450 0x8001 ==> 7455 0x8002 ==> 7447 0x8003 ==> 7447A 0x8004 ==> 7448 And use them to detect 7450 family for perf events. Linux kernel
============
There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
