Currently smatch warns of possible Spectre-V1 issue in ahci_led_store(): drivers/ata/libahci.c:1150 ahci_led_store() warn: potential spectre issue 'pp->em_priv' (local cap) Userspace controls @pmp from following callchain: em_message->store() ->ata_scsi_em_message_store() -->ap->ops->em_store() --->ahci_led_store() After the mask+shift @pmp is effectively an 8b value, which is used to index into an array of length 8, so sanitize the array index. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
See Documentation/00-INDEX for a list of what is contained in each file.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
