[ Upstream commit586b58cac8] With CONFIG_DEBUG_ATOMIC_SLEEP=y and CONFIG_CGROUPS=y, kernel oopses in non-preemptible context look untidy; after the main oops, the kernel prints a "sleeping function called from invalid context" report because exit_signals() -> cgroup_threadgroup_change_begin() -> percpu_down_read() can sleep, and that happens before the preempt_count_set(PREEMPT_ENABLED) fixup. It looks like the same thing applies to profile_task_exit() and kcov_task_exit(). Fix it by moving the preemption fixup up and the calls to profile_task_exit() and kcov_task_exit() down. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
See Documentation/00-INDEX for a list of what is contained in each file.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
