commit43b0a4b482upstream. This is unused on cheza. Delete the node to get ride of the reserved- memory section, and to avoid the driver from attempting to load a zap shader that doesn't exist every time it powers up the GPU. This also avoids a massive amount of dmesg spam about missing zap fw: msm ae00000.mdss: [drm:adreno_request_fw] *ERROR* failed to load qcom/a630_zap.mdt: -2 adreno 5000000.gpu: [drm:adreno_zap_shader_load] *ERROR* Unable to load a630_zap.mdt Signed-off-by: Rob Clark <robdclark@chromium.org> Cc: Douglas Anderson <dianders@chromium.org> Fixes:3fdeaee951("arm64: dts: sdm845: Add zap shader region for GPU") Reviewed-by: Douglas Anderson <dianders@chromium.org> Tested-by: Douglas Anderson <dianders@chromium.org> Signed-off-by: Andy Gross <agross@kernel.org> Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@linuxfoundation.org>
Linux kernel
============
There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
