[ Upstream commit00d85e8179] The driver will match mostly by DT table (even thought there is regular ID table) so there is little benefit in of_match_ptr (this also allows ACPI matching via PRP0001, even though it might not be relevant here). This also fixes !CONFIG_OF error: drivers/hwmon/tmp513.c:610:34: error: ‘tmp51x_of_match’ defined but not used [-Werror=unused-const-variable=] Fixes:59dfa75e5d("hwmon: Add driver for Texas Instruments TMP512/513 sensor chips.") Linux kernel
============
There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
