2aaa7c7097 thermal: streamline get_trend callbacks
The .get_trend callback in struct thermal_zone_device_ops has the prototype:
        int (*get_trend) (struct thermal_zone_device *, int,
                          enum thermal_trend *);
whereas the .get_trend callback in struct thermal_zone_of_device_ops has:

        int (*get_trend)(void *, long *);

Streamline both prototypes and add the trip argument to the OF callback
aswell and use enum thermal_trend * instead of an integer pointer.

While the OF prototype may be the better one, this should be decided at
framework level and not on OF level.

606113604b thermal: Add support for hardware-tracked trip points
This adds support for hardware-tracked trip points to the device tree
thermal sensor framework.

The framework supports an arbitrary number of trip points. Whenever
the current temperature is updated, the trip points immediately
below and above the current temperature are found. A .set_trips
callback is then called with the temperatures. If there is no trip
point above or below the current temperature, the passed trip
temperature will be -INT_MAX or INT_MAX respectively. In this callback,
the driver should program the hardware such that it is notified
when either of these trip points are triggered. When a trip point
is triggered, the driver should call `thermal_zone_device_update'
for the respective thermal zone. This will cause the trip points
to be updated again.

If .set_trips is not implemented, the framework behaves as before.

This patch is based on an earlier version from Mikko Perttunen
<mikko.perttunen@kapsi.fi>

ed55942044 UPSTREAM: drm: prime: Honour O_RDWR during prime-handle-to-fd
Currently DRM_IOCTL_PRIME_HANDLE_TO_FD rejects all flags except
(DRM|O)_CLOEXEC making it difficult (maybe impossible) for userspace
to mmap() the resulting dma-buf even when this is supported by the
DRM driver.

It is trivial to relax the restriction and permit read/write access.
This is safe because the flags are seldom touched by drm; mostly they
are passed verbatim to dma_buf calls.

v3 (Tiago): removed unused flags variable from drm_prime_handle_to_fd_ioctl.

3f3b4c799d fs: sdcardfs: Declare LOOKUP_CASE_INSENSITIVE unconditionally
Attempts to build sdcardfs as module fail with

fs/sdcardfs/lookup.c: In function '__sdcardfs_lookup':
fs/sdcardfs/lookup.c:243:5: error: 'LOOKUP_CASE_INSENSITIVE' undeclared

This occurs because the define is enclosed with #ifdef
CONFIG_SDCARD_FS_CI_SEARCH. If SDCARD_FS_CI_SEARCH is configured to be
built as module, this does not work. Alternatives would be to use #if
IS_ENABLED(CONFIG_SDCARD_FS_CI_SEARCH), or to declare SDCARD_FS_CI_SEARCH
as bool, but that does not work because the define is used unconditionally
in the source.

Note that LOOKUP_CASE_INSENSITIVE is only set but not evaluated in the
current source code, so setting the flag has no real effect.

530d9c5fc2 vfs: add d_canonical_path for stacked filesystem support
Inotify does not currently know when a filesystem
is acting as a wrapper around another fs. This means
that inotify watchers will miss any modifications to
the base file, as well as any made in a separate
stacked fs that points to the same file.
d_canonical_path solves this problem by allowing the fs
to map a dentry to a path in the lower fs. Inotify
can use it to find the appropriate place to watch to
be informed of all changes to a file.

Rockchip have three clocks for dp controller, we leave pclk_edp
to analogix_dp driver control, and keep the sclk_edp_24m and
sclk_edp in platform driver.

cdeb92004b FROMLIST: drm: bridge: analogix/dp: split exynos dp driver to bridge directory
Split the dp core driver from exynos directory to bridge directory,
and rename the core driver to analogix_dp_*, rename the platform
code to exynos_dp.

Beside the new analogix_dp driver would export six hooks.
"analogix_dp_bind()" and "analogix_dp_unbind()"
"analogix_dp_suspned()" and "analogix_dp_resume()"
"analogix_dp_detect()" and "analogix_dp_get_modes()"

The bind/unbind symbols is used for analogix platform driver to connect
with analogix_dp core driver. And the detect/get_modes is used for analogix
platform driver to init the connector.

They reason why connector need register in helper driver is rockchip drm
haven't implement the atomic API, but Exynos drm have implement it, so
there would need two different connector helper functions, that's why we
leave the connector register in helper driver.
