c76c6c4ecb ARM: 9294/2: vfp: Fix broken softirq handling with instrumentation enabled
Commit 62b95a7b44 ("ARM: 9282/1: vfp: Manipulate task VFP state with
softirqs disabled") replaced the en/disable preemption calls inside the
VFP state handling code with en/disabling of soft IRQs, which is
necessary to allow kernel use of the VFP/SIMD unit when handling a soft
IRQ.

Unfortunately, when lockdep is enabled (or other instrumentation that
enables TRACE_IRQFLAGS), the disable path implemented in asm fails to
perform the lockdep and RCU related bookkeeping, resulting in spurious
warnings and other badness.

Set let's rework the VFP entry code a little bit so we can make the
local_bh_disable() call from C, with all the instrumentations that
happen to have been configured. Calling local_bh_enable() can be done
from asm, as it is a simple wrapper around __local_bh_enable_ip(), which
is always a callable function.

97b5576b01 arm64/sme: Fix some comments of ARM SME
When TIF_SME is clear, fpsimd_restore_current_state will disable
SME trap during ret_to_user, then SME access trap is impossible
in userspace, not SVE.

Besides, fix typo: alocated->allocated.

be690daa22 ionic: Don't overwrite the cyclecounter bitmask
The driver was incorrectly overwriting the cyclecounter bitmask,
which was truncating it and not aligning to the hardware mask value.
This isn't causing any issues, but it's wrong. Fix this by not
constraining the cyclecounter/hardware mask.

Luckily, this seems to cause no issues, which is why this change
doesn't have a fixes tag and isn't being sent to net. However, if
any transformations from time->cycles are needed in the future,
this change will be needed.

81900e3a37 drm/i915: disable sampler indirect state in bindless heap
By default the indirect state sampler data (border colors) are stored
in the same heap as the SAMPLER_STATE structure. For userspace drivers
that can be 2 different heaps (dynamic state heap & bindless sampler
state heap). This means that border colors have to copied in 2
different places so that the same SAMPLER_STATE structure find the
right data.

This change is forcing the indirect state sampler data to only be in
the dynamic state pool (more convenient for userspace drivers, they
only have to have one copy of the border colors). This is reproducing
the behavior of the Windows drivers.

db21973263 net: ethernet: stmmac: dwmac-rk: fix optional phy regulator handling
The usual devm_regulator_get() call already handles "optional"
regulators by returning a valid dummy and printing a warning
that the dummy regulator should be described properly. This
code open coded the same behaviour, but masked any errors that
are not -EPROBE_DEFER and is quite noisy.

This change effectively unmasks and propagates regulators errors
not involving -ENODEV, downgrades the error print to warning level
if no regulator is specified and captures the probe defer message
for /sys/kernel/debug/devices_deferred.

ea449f7fa0 net: ethernet: stmmac: dwmac-rk: rework optional clock handling
The clock requesting code is quite repetitive. Fix this by requesting
the clocks via devm_clk_bulk_get_optional. The optional variant has been
used, since this is effectively what the old code did. The exact clocks
required depend on the platform and configuration. As a side effect
this change adds correct -EPROBE_DEFER handling.

7394d0a85d PCI: qcom: Add support for SDX55 SoC
Add support for SDX55 SoC reusing the 1.9.0 config. The PCIe controller is
of version 1.10.0 but it is compatible with the 1.9.0 config. This SoC also
requires "sleep" clock which is added as an optional clock in the driver,
since it is not required on other SoCs.

e18a7e9a2d media: Use designated initializers for all subdev pad ops
Structures passed to subdev pad operations are all zero-initialized when
declaring variables. In most cases, this is done with designated
initializers to initialize some of the fields to specific values, but in
a minority of cases the structures are zero-initialized by assigning
them to '{ 0 }' or '{ }'.

Improve coding style consistency by using designated initializers where
possible, always initializing the 'which' field.
